This results in abundant roosting space and for the future growth of the colony.

The vents, on each side, near the top, are located on opposite ends and allow for maximum air circulation. Units may be special ordered without vents, (for colder climate areas), if desired. Please specify when ordering. Occupants can move throughout the entire habitat through the many passageways.
( Interior Features)

The inside (PVC) plastic insert consist of seven "PI" bat houses secured together. Insulation is sandwiched, on the top, and between the outside and inside walls to stabilize the inside temperature.
Picture at left illustrates one of the seven "PI" sections that complete the inside of the "Bridge Condo" insert, showing the large attic and access spaces to the various compartments. The attic design allows air flow throughout, while providing an additional temperature range for the occupants in this nursery habitat. Webbing allows the bats to easily move in and around the entire area and provides for additional room. The recessed webbing (bottom) makes a convenient and safe inside landing area. The "PI" house has proven its success throughout the United States, and is rated "Bat Approved" by Bat Conservation Int.

Mounting Instructions: |
|
Mounting under a bridge or other structure, the unit should be a minimum of 10 feet from the ground to the bottom of the house, more is better. Position the open end down (for the bats to enter and exit). To attract bats to the new house(s) we offer some suggestions: Don't have underbrush within 15 feet from the bottom of the house(s).
Have a clear flight path to the house(s)
Have the location safely above the high water level.
The mounting eye bolts may be turned, if desired.
Shipping weight of bat house strapped on pallet is approx. 249#.
